Yep, Wake Up In Wicklow may be an invite to come spend the night in the Garden County, but it could also be the name of Ireland’s answer to The Hangover.
Or it could be sending out a totally wrong signal – that Wicklow is the Roofie Capital of Ireland.
Still, Jennifer Whitmore and those crazy cats at Wicklow Tourism are 100% behind the campaign, and that means Wake Up In Wicklow gets the thumbs up from GG too.
The idea is simple – picture yourself (literally) in a beautiful part of Wicklow, and use the hashtag #wakeupinwicklow.
That way, you can help spread the good word. Just try not to look like you’ve just woken up. In Wicklow.
Oh, and whoever put this campaign together, you really need someone like GG on board. Wake Up To Wicklow would be far better.
