Thursday, April 25th 2024…Today, in Greystones Sports Park, St. Catherine’s Special School community came out in droves to walk, roll, wheel, cycle, run, whatever their way around the sort park.
The St. Catherine’s School sponsored MOVE community goal was to 
clock as many kilometers as possible. Families and friends of St Catherine’s – including TY pupils from St. David’s School, Centra Kilcoole and Sugarloaf Lions Club – all turned up to show their support and clock km’s alongside the pupils and members of St. Catherine’s teaching and learning team.

The total ground covered over the 1.5 hour sponsored walk was 198kms.
Thanks to Greystones Sports Park, bus contractors – Owen Nolan, Mick Nolan, Dave Murray, Gerry O’Toole, Eileen’s Executive Hire, CJ Vinny and Martin Lynch – Centra Kilcoole, Sugarloaf Lions Club and St. David’s School Greystones for supporting us all and helping make this morning happen.
