Ready! Teddy! Go!

Mrs Claus works her magic…

t was full dreams ahead as all the lucky teddy bears of Greystones were treated to a sleepover at Greystones Library tonight.

Thanks to their kind and loving owners – and those clever people at the library, of course – each and every teddy got a ticket to ride the Polar Express tonight.

And when they’ve finished their little nighttime train ride to the North Pole, these little tuckered out teds will make their bed for the night among all their favourite books, knowing that their owners will be swinging by in the morning to bring them home again.

Once they’ve heard all about their wonderful adventure, of course.

Tonight, it was a little bon voyage party, as the children brought their cuddly little friends to the library for some stories, some fun and some games, courtesy of the wonderful Mrs Clause.

Joining in on all the fun was our no.1 roving photographer, John McGowan, who sent us all these wonderful pics before stepping inside the Polar Express, to say farewell to his new friends.

Before he knew it, there was a toot, and puff of steam, and John hasn’t been seen since…
