Remembering Lee

Lee & Zoe…

o mark the first anniversary of his sad passing, the sister of Lee Williams has put together three fun fundraisers in his memory.

With the money going to Greystones Cancer Support, the fundraisers would no doubt make Lee smile.

Given that one is a dance class, another is a night in The Mollys and the third is a skydive.

“Lee was a very special person,” says Zoe Williams. “He would light up a room when he walked in to it.

“Basically, he was my best friend since day one, as I was his little sister. When Lee became sick he was always so unbelievably strong and never let it get him down. Instead, he made a bucket list, heading off to Dubai and Barcelona, and watching his team, Liverpool, play Leicester City at Anfield.

“We’ve added three more silly things to that bucket list…”

Lee Williams passed on July 29th 2022 after a short battle with Sarcoma cancer. He was just 27.

Organised by Zoe and friend Jamie Murray, there will be a fundraising dance class at Bray Bowls on Thursday, July 27th from 7pm to 8pm, with the sky dive and then The Mollys night (where everyone is encouraged to wear red) taking place on Saturday, July 29th, the former in the morning, the latter at 7pm. Till the following morning. Update: Due to an overdose of Irish weather, the skydive has been moved to the August Bank Holiday Monday.
