As the referendum vote to try and keep priests out of the maternity ward comes marching over the horizon, North Wicklow Together For Yes are hosting a fundraiser at Bray’s Porterhouse tonight.
It’s a near-star line-up of local rock and folk gods, but, more importantly, it’s all for a good cause.
Namely, keeping priests out of Ireland’s maternity wards.
Kicking off at 8.30pm in the Back Bar, those playing include Hannah & Robbie, Bunty & The Bristlehounds, Frankie, and winsome Greystones duo Alpaca Jamboree.
You can find out more about de gig on the Facebook event page here, and about North Wicklow Together For Yes right about here.
Hitler introduced abortion for Non-Aryan women on 9 March 1943. They were “encouraged” to utilize contraception and abortion in order to reduce their populations. (Wikipedia)
Other words Nazi regime were pro-choice and we as a society want to follow their steps.
Not a good cause and to paint the killing of children still in the womb as something as trivial as “keeping the priests out of the maternity ward” is callous and ignorant. I expected better from the GG 🙁

Get up the yard, ya mad feck. And if you truly believe in what you’re saying, don’t hide behind a fake email.

You’re off our Christmas card list too, Mark. Very disappointed in you. Very.
