h, sure, the wonders of modern technology…

You’re rummaging around in an old drawer, a bunch of faded photos drop out of an envelope, and, before you can say “Instagram!”, the buggers are out in the great wide interweb, for all to see.

Young Greystonian Niall Farrell had such a moment this afternoon, finding a bunch of shots taken by his father of sunny Greystones way, way back in the 1980s.

Most of them are of the old harbour, so, expect plenty of ballads to be ringing out around the town tonight, with the banjos turned up to 11.

Some sweet shots in there, and great to see Watson & Johnson’s old garage when it was still pumpin’ away…
