Yep, it was all happening down at Coolnagreina as a celebratory BBQ was unleashed for the Ukrainians who have made Greystones their home.
These visitors on Trafalgar Road have been taking shelter from the
storm in their own country for three years now, as guests of Tiglin, and many of their kids would know Greystones better than their own childhood homes at this point.
So, for them especially, marking the years of living over 2,000 miles away from where they were simply growing up, going to school and playing with their friends is an important one.
This is the land of a thousand welcomes, after all. Although we may need to do a recount one of these days.
