We meet on Tuesday evenings in the Bridge Centre
A committee of 10 people oversee the smooth running of the club. I was elected President last May at our AGM (I held the same position in 2001/02). We run competitions, fun nights and charity fundraisers throughout the year.
On Tuesday 17th, we celebrated Bloomsday, decorating the bridge rooms and our members dressing up in the clothes of the day.

All taking place down on Victoria Road in The Bridge Club that took many years of fundraising before Eoin MacNeill’s fine idea was finally constructed in 1992.
And last night, the Sugarloaf Bridge Club decided to let their weekly Tuesday night session also be a celebration of Bloomsday. Which was the day before.

Sugarloaf Bridge Club was founded in 1996 by our bridge teacher and mentor Nano Henry.
We meet on Tuesday evenings in the Bridge Centre 
on Victoria Road and play for about 3 hours. We will celebrate our 30th anniversary next February.

Playing bridge and having fun with friends is the order of the day.
On Tuesday 17th, we celebrated Bloomsday, decorating the bridge rooms and our members dressing up in the clothes of the day. 
There was a prosecco reception to start, with tea plus scones with jam and cream to follow. Prizes were awarded on the night for the best dressed.
