You Gotta Row With It

There’s always, of course, a deep sadness that comes with looking around a once-beautiful, once-thriving building now reduced to rubble, rot and MC Feckwit graffiti.

You only have to walk past The La Touche Hotel to recognise that.

We’ve seen inside everyone’s favourite house on the hill before, back in 2015, and it’s hard to say if all that much has changed over the three years since.

Taken just yesterday, Monday, March 19th 2018, by Jack NG Photography, the latest look inside the former Fox family home may not hold many surprises, but it’s still a sight to make your eyes sore.

Having been put on the market again last June, along with the surrounding 50 acres, here’s hoping someone with a little taste and a lot of respect for the history there buys Windgates House and restores it to something resembling its former glory.

And should they feel like having a monthly party to celebrate that fact, even better…

You can explore more of Windgates House here.
