Tiglin has reaffirmed its commitment to working collaboratively with Wicklow County Council and local stakeholders to help address housing needs across the county, following recent discussions regarding the future potential of its Loreto Bray site.
The organisation recently presented to council members on the breadth of its work across Wicklow and beyond, highlighting its services in rehabilitation, homeless outreach, supported housing, community integration, and social enterprise initiatives. The presentation focused on Tiglin’s long standing mission of supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, and social exclusion to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into their communities.
Following recent media coverage relating to the organisation’s recently acquired Loreto Bray property, Tiglin has clarified that there are currently no physical development plans for the site and that discussions with Wicklow County Council remain at an early exploratory stage.
“Tiglin is always open to discussions regarding housing needs and to being part of the solution for Wicklow, something we have done and continue to do in Kildare and Dublin where we also provide housing and homeless services,” said Phil Thompson, CEO and Co Founder of Tiglin.
