Triple A’s Thursday Youth Group

We are delighted to announce our new Youth Group run in collaboration with Crosscare.

It will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday evenings and will cater for neurodivergent teens aged from 13 to 18 approximately.

It will take place in the Seomra Youth Centre in Bray and will be run by trained and experienced youth workers. The group will be a social space to use the youth centre equipment and activities, for young people to hang out, and make friends. The Seomra Centre have a game console (PS5) but not a huge amount of games. They have a couple of VR headsets, pool table, art materials. There are also facilities to make snacks.

The Seomra Centre has a sensory room that will be available to anyone who might need a regulation break. Seomra Youth Centre is based in Carlisle House on Adelaide Road in Bray – just across the road from the car park entrance to the Bray Bowl. In terms of registration, the youth workers will have a form to be completed on Thursday with some registration info – emergency contacts, medical details, relevant info from parents and a couple of consents (eg. photo consent for reports, etc).

If the group goes well, there will be an opportunity to bring groups out of the centre for an occasional outdoor activity in the coming months (eg. they have an outdoor learning worker so can do bushcraft type activities, rock climbing-abseiling, and water sports like kayaking or paddle boarding or gorge walking).
