Two Marys Golf Classic 2017

A grand day out…

n just a few short years, the Two Marys Memorial Charity Golf Classic has become one of the most popular shindigs in town.

Founded as a way of not only raising money for a good cause, this annual big day out is a great way to remember Mary Nolan and her daughter, Mary Bradshaw, two local women who tragically died of cancer within one week of each other in 2003.

As always, the two Marys made sure the sun was shining down on all their friends, as the great and the good – and the not-so-good (no offence, Deccy Clarke) – took to the course at Greystones Golf Club today.

Raising thousands for Greystones Cancer Support and others, the Two Marys Memorial Charity Golf Classic is undoubtedly here to stay…

There’s no doubt both mother and daughter would be chuffed to know that their memories are being carried on by such wonderful people.

Talking of wonderful people, our trusty roving photographer John McGowan was at hand this afternoon, and, being the pro that he is, the man even managed to make some of these players look half-presentable…
