The Two Marys Charity Golf Classic has been paying tribute to this dynamic duo since 2003, and the fact that they passed away within a week of one another has seen the money raised each year going to Greystones Cancer Support.

And so far, the Bradshaws and the Nolans have raised over €80,000 in their mothers’ names.
That this year’s outing at The Golf Club Which Will Not Be Named sold out in about 24 hours reflects the popularity of the event, and of the families themselves.
As always, the great John McGowan spent much of his day there, ultimately taking over 150 shots on the big day. All for free.
Talk about a local hero.
