Whatever the reason, the sun didn’t seem all that bothered down at Greystones seafront this afternoon.
Too busy being sunny. Really sunny.
Be the holy, right on cue, the first day of summer brought the sort of sun that sparks siestas.
You only had to look at all the mid-afternoon nappers down at the Greystones Family Fun Day on Bank Holiday Monday to notice that.
So, here’s to a beautiful summer. Greystones is, after all, the California of Ireland. And that means sun, sea and sand – and getting slightly sozzled – all summer long.
