Not that GG could actually tell this afternoon, but, apparently the swanky new townhouse showroom down at The Cove needed just one extra tweak.
We had snooped through the four bedrooms, had a nosey in every nook and walk-in wardrobe on each of the four floors, and gawped at the view at least four times…
When it came to spotting anything wrong with this La Touche Cove townhouse, well, GG’s future seafront HQ looked pretty darn perfect to us.
And well it might. Phase one of The Cove townhouses are about to go on release, consisting of two 3-bedroom homes and twelve 4-bedroom homes. For the former, prices range from €795,000 to €875,000, whilst the latter goes from €900,000 to €1,125,000.
If that doesn’t quite fit your budget, the apartments in the old La Touche Hotel building will be ready in the not-too-distant future, with 10 units comprising of 2- and 3-bedroom apartments ranging up to 1,600sqft over 3 levels, and boasting a handy lift.
We were just processing all that info courtesy of the bould Sonya of O’Gorman Properties when the lady responsible for the refreshingly subtle furnishings around us, Elaine from Elk House Interior Design, arrived at the door. And she had brought with her, she assured us, that one missing detail that would make this townhouse just so.
A ripple-glass-topped coffee table thingy. In fact, two of them, one rectangle, one circular. And slightly different heights, so they could overlap.
Turns out Elaine from Elk House Interior Design is much smarter than she looks. The double-whammy table thingy looked great.
But, hey, you don’t have to take our word for it. Go check out our sneak peek video tour below, and some snappy snaps (and some pro shots) of a house that will give you a front-row seat to that Cove sunrise every single day.
There’s even a telescope thrown in, so you can enjoy the crack of dawn too, as the Pear lads squeeze out of their togs…
