When A Town Comes Together

he call went out just last week to get local mum Dee Woods to Germany for cancer treatment, and Greystones clearly heard.

Within days, not one, not two, but four fundraisers were organised around the town.

The first of which, a table quiz at The Whale on Wednesday, November 22nd, sold out in about a day.

But fear not, for there are plenty more fun ways to help, including Summit To The Sea For Dee on Saturday, November 25th. We’re talking a run from the Great Sugar Loaf to The Cove followed by, of course, a swim, plus refreshments and a raffle. Meeting at the Sugar Loaf car park at 10am, you can register by emailing right here.

On Wednesday 29th at Shoreline in Bray, you can indulge in some Yoga And Breathwork For Dee, running from 7pm to 8pm. You can register through Minaste Yoga on Instagram here or pay the €30 admission through the GoFundMe page right here.

For those happier to do a little breathless work, O’Briens are hosting an informal, fun, informative and festive wine tasting night in the Druids Glen Golf clubhouse on Friday, December 8th. Doors open at 7.30pm, and it’s €25 per person. You can grab your spot by emailing here.
