The three schools in Greystones, Temple Carrig School, Greystones Community College and St. Davids Holy Faith Secondary School are currently processing admissions for entry into 1st year 2023/2024.

The management of all three schools in Greystones work closely together to ensure the process is as seamless as possible for 6th class students and their families.

The schools can confirm that offers of places in 1st year 2023 will be made by all three schools between Thursday 10th November and Wednesday 16th November 2022. A window is then provided for families to make their choice so that parents/guardians will be able to know with certainty the schools from which they have an offer of a place in plenty of time before any deadlines.

Management in the three schools are cognisant of the high demand for school places in Greystones and the distress caused to families who are unsuccessful in securing a place. Therefore, all three schools in the local area (St David’s Holy Faith School, Greystones Community College and Temple Carrig School) are asking that families only accept a place for their child in ONE of these schools.

It is unfair at this stage for people to hoard places in multiple schools because it deprives other families of the chance of any place at all. If you are offered more than one place, please consider carefully which school you would prefer, make your decision and then reject any offers from the other schools.

Where a family is found to have accepted a place in two or more schools in Greystones, you will be contacted by phone and requested to communicate your immediate decision in writing by email to all schools concerned.
