Who Let The Pooch Out?

here are days, weeks, months, years here at GG HQ, where it can feel like you’re stuck in an Escher sketch.

As we try and work out way through a backlog of posts, requests, favours and general mayhem, each day brings a whole new pile of posts, requests, favours and general mayhem.

Ensuring that you never fully catch up with yourself.

A very strong case in point is this year’s Me & My Pooch competition, which garnered over 100 entries and literally thousands of votes.

All of which mean, hey, we were going to need a few hours to plough through all that. Now, all we had to do was find a spare few hours. And when we finally did count up the votes, our winner wasn’t well. And then they were away. And then, well, we reckoned they were actually just too shy to meet up to collect their award.

So, congrats to the beautiful Sienna and her lovely little dog, Pippi, who pipped everyone else to the post this year in a competition that was collar and collar right up to the finish line.

Big love to the lanky Jonathan and the Glenergy crew for sponsoring Me & My Pooch once again, and to Fernanda down at V.I.Pets on Theatre Lane, who will be giving Pippi a free VIP grooming session. Sienna too, if she’s up for it.
