ith a stop-go system for the upgrade works on Chapel Road running for over a year now, and generally sitting on stop, Coffey Construction have today warned local residents of a complete shutdown for up to 5 weeks.

Starting Wednesday, May 20th. Which is tomorrow.

Only a small section of the road between Seagreen and Beechbrook will be worked on while they wait for Eirc to grace them with their presence, but there will be no through access from one side to the other during these works.

And that includes evenings and weekends.

There will be safe access for pedestrians during the closure though.

In case you want to abandon the car altogether. For the rest of the year.
