uch is the growth of Greystones as a foodie town that every time we thought we had made a full list of restaurants, cafés and takeaways here, hey, we kept thinking of another.

Then another. And another. And, oh yeah, how could we forget that one…?

As main streets all over the world turn into food aisles, is it all that surprising that, even in 2019, there were 26 coffee docks of one sort or another just on Church Road alone? Since then, another nine have joined the party. And by the time you’ve finished this sentence, there’s probably been another one just added.

Still, if food be the, eh, music of love, eat on, my chubby friends, as a chinwag over a chowdown is one of the finest ways to relax and refuel in this increasingly frantic world of ours. If you’re in good company too, you may even manage to ignore your phone for an hour or two.

The above map is a guide to just where you can grab yourself a nosebag or two, with the list below also including such fine eateries as Enso and Donnybrook Fair up Bellevue Road, Tiffin By Sunil out in sunny Charlesland, and the likes of Pigeon House, The Fat Fox and the original Bear Paw up in Delgany.
