A great day was had by all at the 3rd and 4th class Camogie Blitz in Bray Emmets on Wednesday, February 12th.

It was super to see so many girls showing their skills and there were some fantastic games of camogie played.

Participating schools included St. Joseph’s, Gaelscoil Uí Chéadaigh, Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath, St. Laurence’s, St. Brigid’s, Greystones Educate Together, St. Laurence’s, Holy Rosary, St. Peter’s and St. Fergal’s.

Thanks to Bray Emmets for the use of their facilities, to the Young Whistlers who officiated and everyone who helpedto make the day possible.

The Allianz Coughlan Cup (boys football) will be taking place in Bray on February 27th, with Day 2 on March 13th, whilst the Wicklow Times Shield for Girls Football is also in Bray on March 6th and then March 20th.

The annual Cumann na mBunscol Wicklow Skills Competition will start on March 24th, with North-East on March 25th in Bray Emmets, South in Ballinakill on the 26th and West in Blessington on the 27th, with the county final taking place in Ballinakill on Wednesday, April 2nd. There’s also the Credit Union Cup (Hurling) in Ballinakill on April 9th, the Allianz Camogie Day, also in Ballinakill, on April 30th, whilst the Junior and Senior Infant Introduction to GAA is in the Aughrim Community Hall on Thursday, February 27th and the Allianz 5th and 6th Class Girls Camogie is on Thursday, March 20th at the Aughrim Community Pitch. The Cumann na mBunscol Skills Test regional final is on March 26th in Ballinakill, with the final there on April 2nd, whilst the Allianz 5th and 6th Class Boys Hurling will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at the Aughrim Community Pitch.
