It’s a fair cop…?

It’s a fair cop…?
harlesland woman Carmel Connors appeared at a sitting of Bray
District Court this week over an alleged hit and run.
According to a report in today’s Bray People, Ms Connors is accused of leaving the scene.
In regard to the Newtown charge, the court was told that the accused believes her brakes failed to work correctly at the time of the collision, whilst solicitor for the defence, Michael O’Connor, said that his client had fully engaged with the Probation Service and in the process “gained an insight into her offending“.
It was also noted by the defence that Ms Connors had 11 previous convictions, although Sergeant Mick Dee told the court that he could find no record of these after checking all Garda databases.
