Kirath channels a little Kahlo cool
he weather may have tried its best to rain on our paranormal parade this year,
but there were still plenty of scary monsters and super creeps in Greystones for Halloween 2022.
With the town still shaking off the hibernation of the last two years, there might not have been quite as many spooky
costumes and haunted mansions out there this year, but the quality certainly made up for the quantity.
Got a give a special shout-out to the Kindlestown and Kenmare Halloween Party on Saturday, where just about every kid in the two estates got their mad rags on. And
Farrankelly Close made the monster most of having the local Gardaà round for a Halloween kickabout.
Kudos too when it came to the town’s schools, especially St Patrick’s National and Temple Carrig, all clearly getting into the spooky spirit of things with teachers and pupils alike all dressing to distress.
And alongside some new highly original additions to our ghoulish gallery this year, got to give an honourable mention to Anne Hertz and her demon off-spring for once again going far above and below with their costumes. Yowsa!
And then there was the fine work of the Buckleys over in
Thorndale, and young Darragh Flynn & co keeping the Halloween Pageants alive and kicking this year.
The full line-up for Halloween In Greystones is right about here, whilst you can jump to 2021’s gallery right over here.
Thanks to everyone who sent in some pics, and made the effort to frighten the bejiggers out of their neighbours. This town needs a jolt or two right now…
