If it’s drama that you are looking for, here’s a bit of information that might be right up your alley.
Those creative souls at The Delgany Dramatic Society have been hard at it, in a manner of speaking. After a two-year break (due to the Covid
lurgy), they are back and with a bang – or even a couple of bangs.
On November 24th, 25th and 26th, in The Old Schoolhouse at 8pm, you will see a wide variety of dramatic and comedic performances.
The nights will kick off with an adaptation of The Bear, by Chekov. Loss, love and lust will be on display.
Next, a scary tale of supernatural happenings. Bloodshed murder and revenge, presented in a short play written by Peter Robbie entitled Ting a Ling. Something horrible lies upstairs… Why not join us and find out who or what it is?
After your heartbeat returns to normal, we will round off the evening’s entertainment with a bawdy rendition of Anatomy Of A Duel, again by Peter Robbie. A riotous tale of misplaced and reluctant romance, culminating in a rather contrived duel. Bloodshed, gore and pathos – possibly.
