f it ain’t quite gettin’ like a ghost town, there’s no denying that Greystones is going through a surreal stretch of suspended animation.
daily walk, but, the hustle and bustle of everyday life is no longer there.
What will be interesting is to see is what sort of town – and what sort of people – emerges, blinking, out of this enforced spring hibernation.

I am a little unsure when you made the video and many thanks to all those who are making such a huge effort to try and help all their fellow citizens and all of us working in the front line emergency services. Unfortunately a serious number of people seem to be continuing to have blatant disregard for the current rules. Many cars were been stopped by the Garda today on the Coast road and been questioned about unnecessary journeys while at the same time individuals were swimming off the rocks near Carriag Eden.
There really is no degree for stupidity. Please continue to obey the current rules and remember not only front-line workers but the many families who have suffered loss of their loved ones because of this dreadful and deadly virus.
