The reason for the photo is that, to no one’s great surprise, the mighty Enso have won this year’s Greystones’ Perfect Pizza 2025 award – a title the feckers have bagged every single year, for four years in a row now, and by a culchie mile. Or two.

Which is pretty pineapple on pizza, when you think about it.

“It is nuts,” nods Enso’s founder and chief, Tim Crooks. “We always expect people to go for a new place that’s just opened, and so, when the voting opens up and people are posting wonderful things about the staff here – and about our pizzas, of course – it’s a genuine thrill.
