Bringing It All Back UpstairsJanuary 9, 2020
Making sure that Greystones is now only degree away from Kevin Bacon, the funkier St David’s kids are about to put on a production of the 1984 blockbuster musical, Footloose.
Having scored a major hit with their take on John Waters’ Hairspray last year, the Holy Faith gang have got their dancin’ shoes on once again for a much-loved classic.
This time out, Frankie Kavanagh will be the one cutting loose as Ren, with the nymph-like Emily Farrell playing Ariel. Ross O’Rourke and Brian Woods will alternative nights as Reverend Shaw, whilst Dylan Anderson will kick off his Sunday shoes as Willard and Aoife Finnegan will be putting on her red shoes as Rusty.
Running from Tuesday, January 21st to Friday 24th at 8pm nightly, tickets are €12 for adults and €8 for a child, with a €5 special for kids on the opening night. You can grab your tickets from St David’s school office, or by getting in touch on 012874800 or email@example.com.
In the meantime, our roving snapper John McGowan swung down to rehearsals this afternoon hoping to impress all the kids with The Hucklebuck. He was out of luck.
