Four Greystones Girls On A Mary’s Meals Mission

ith plans to head to Medjugorie in April along with 25 other TY students from Wicklow and Wexford, four Greystones girls are making it their mission to make a difference when it comes to having no child go to school hungry.

Which is why they’ve started a fundraising drive for Mary’s Meals, the Irish charity dedicated to bringing nutritious school meals to children living in some of the world’s poorest communities.

With a charity run already conducted, friends Lilí, Maria, Nancy and Síofra will be participating in a number of fundraising efforts and spreading awareness of this vital cause over the coming months. The girls are are keen to prove that anyone, no matter their age, can make a tangible difference in the fight against hunger.

Currently, Mary’s Meals feeds over 2.4 million children in 18 countries, including Malawi, Haiti, and Ethiopia. However, there are millions more who still need support.
