ack on the road again, the Garden Of Ireland Vintage Car Club are gearing up for a plethora of classic car love-ins for 2025.

Including, of course the annual tributes to two of their gone but never forgotten members, Tom Kennedy and Liam Kelly.

Busy summer, with a trip to Wells House in Wexford on June 15th, leaving The Grove Bar at 11am, the Bohernabreena Car Show on July 7th and, one of the biggies of the year, The Tom Kennedy Memorial Car Show on Sunday, July 13th from 12pm to 4pm at St Mary’s GAA in Enniskerry (more details here), plus the Kilmacanogue Horse Show on Saturday 26th.

In August, it’s the RIAC’s Picnic In The Park at Marley Park on the 6th, the 50th Moynalty Show and the Carlow Vintage Car Club in Ducketts Grove on the 10th, the Tom Treacy Memorial Run in aid of Loals Hospice on the 16th and the IVCC’s Powerscourt Picnic on the 16th. Both the Thomas Morgan Run and the Kilkenny Car Show were yet to be confirmed at the time of going to press.

It’s yet another full weekend of motor magic in September as The Annual Liam Kelly Memorial Run weekend gets underway. With a reception launch at The Parkview, the Saturday and Sunday will see a run on both days, all centred, of course, around the club’s beloved Grove Bar. Also in September there’s an outing to Ardgillian Castle & Gardens in Balbriggan on the 21st, leaving The Grove Bar at 11am.
