Greystones Players Get Themselves Connected

You know how it is, some nights, Tinder just ain’t cuttin’ it…

Actually, this is the rather groovy line-up for the Greystones Players’ new production, Connections, their follow-up to May’s rather marvellous Dancing At Lughnasa adaptation.

Four one-act plays, Connections will reintroduce some of that earlier, debut production’s cast alongside a whole batch of new Greystonians eager to be someone else other than their pitiful selves. Bless.

Greystones Players are delighted to announce their new production coming up for November. A diverse and entertaining evening of four one-act plays, Connections explores variations on love, relationships and our expectations of theatre.

The programme includes While The Auto Waits, adapted from O. Henry’s short story, Sure Thing by David Ives, comic writing at its most original, the amusing and poignant Post-its by Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman (of Wicked fame), and lastly, Audience, Michael Frayn’s clever and comic exploration of the nature of theatre and audience expectations.

While you’ll recognise some familiar faces this time round, we are delighted to welcome some of our newly joined players who”ll be treading the Whale stage for the first time.
