Greystones Rowing Club Regatta 2025

The next generation…

t would probably be easier to find out what happened to David Miscavige’s wife than it would be to get the results for today’s Greystones Rowing Club Regatta.

And that’s mainly because when it comes to news, those little rascals at the Greystones Rowing Club like to keep it vague.

Verging on non-existent. We’re not even sure they’ve fully embraced the internet yet. Or electricity.

Which means that, as with previous years, today’s hooley is one big guessing game.

Let’s just say there was a whole bunch of rowing clubs up and down de coast competing for a trophy or three at Greystones Harbour today.

Some of them were successful.

Some of them were not.

Which is the way competitions work.

And the way The Greystones Guide and its no.1 roving snapper, John McGowan, work is that we once again covered the entire day with hundreds of pictures, and shared them out with the rest of the world.

Even though we’re dealing with lazy-ass feckers.

Still, great to see such a good turnout, such fine weather, the Sweeneys out in force and looking good, and Andrew Tayto cautiously back on the mic.
