Dunne Has Gone & Done It AgainNovember 24, 2017
Established in the 1920s, and, after an 8-year break, re-ignited at Shoreline in 2008, the Greystones Swimming Club are, we here, pretty darn good at swimming.
Then again, they have had almost 100 years of practise. Give or take.
Here’s de spiel from their official website…
Greystones Swimming Club originated as a sea swimming club in Greystones in the 1920s. In recent years, the club continued in Presentation College Bray Pool until it closed in 2000.
In 2008, the club resumed activities in our newly opened Shoreline Leisure Pool in Greystones.
Classes take place on Friday nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and, generally, are in line with the school calendar.
Man, that was moving, and informative. You can visit that official website right here.
