t seems like only yesterday that GG was hanging out with the young Helen Magee, admiring her handiwork on yet another classroom wall.

And now look at the budding young Banksy.

Sometimes going under the innuendo-worthy moniker of Hairy Fruit Art, Helen has created a whole smorgasbord of beautiful art.

And being the clever clogs that she is, that beautiful art is available in all kinds of everything, from notebooks and tea towels to aprons and kitchen wear, from greeting cards and stationery to, of course, those famed framed prints.

It’s the range of the styles on offer that gets us.

One minute, it’s William Morris-esque flower mosaics, the next it’s funky sheep, or the old La Touche Hotel, or the Guinness brewery, the Poolbeg chimneys – all served up with a wry sense of humour.
