ince giving up his regular 9-to-5 so he could spend more time with his young daughter, single dad Rodrigo Fernandes Santos’ has been overwhelmed with the success of his cleaning service.

Then again, the guy was wise enough to let Greystones know through a certain long-running – and long-suffering – town website.

“It’s been amazing,” he tells us when we meet up on this fine but ridiculously rain morning. “Pretty much immediately, I had people booking me to clean their house, and their offices, and it just means that I’m now my own boss, getting to work hard during the week when my daughter is at school, and then spending all that extra time with her after school, and at the weekends.

“And I’m just getting busier and busier too…”
