“The Department of Education is well aware of the housing targets and has made it clear in its own submission to the County Development Plan that the planned growth in Greystones will cause extra pressure on our schools.
“It is very frustrating as a local councillor to be presented with plans for land zoning, yet the Council have no power to deliver the infrastructure that is needed.

Cllr Scott said the meeting with the Tánaiste must happen urgently and focus on securing firm commitments, not general assurances.
I want the Tánaiste to sit with the elected representatives of Greystones, who are hearing first hand about the problems families are facing, and tell us what is going to be done to resolve this.
