Joe takes in the sun…

here’s no question that Bray seafront would be a very different place if it wasn’t for Joe Duggan.

For one, it would be a lot less fun at night.

Having created and transformed many a drinking, eating and dancing emporium along that promenade – including somehow making The Harbour Bar even more kick-ass – Joe and the Duggan clan have provided a great night out for anyone visiting the town for decades now.

The man may be gone, but his legacy lives on. In every glass raised along Bray’s seafront.

Beloved husband of the late Philomena (née Flynn) and the late Eva (née Shankey), loving Dad of Joe Jnr, Angela, Carmel, Brendan, Maria, John, Julie, Jenny and Conor. Adored Grandad to Eoin, Cian, Conor, Kate, Niamh, Aisling, Neil, Dan, Joe, Mike, Max, Izzy, Beau, Travis, Luke, Emily, Anna, Alice, Howie, Bonnie, Abi, Erin, Hannah and Cohen. Wonderful father-in-law to Margaret, Con, Marten, Bernie, Brian, Erika, Joe, Shane and Nicola. Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his children’s partners, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Joe will repose at his home on Wednesday March 23rd from 5pm until 9pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 9:20am, walking to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by private cremation. No flowers by request, donations in keeping with Joe’s wishes to: St. Joseph’s Centre, Crinken, Shankill here.
