t’s one of the few places left around here where live music can still go all the way up to 11.

Yep, over in Lee’s of Kilcoole, they know how to party until the break of closing time – and beyond.

And they know how to singalong to those old classic songs from when music was so much better. Back when ugly people were allowed to make it.

There’s a trad session every Wednesday night from 8pm to 10pm. And like all good trad sessions, it’s a free-form expression for all, baby.

With most gigs taking place on Saturday nights, and all running late into the night, for February though, it’s just DJ Darren hailing in the month on Sunday 1st and Music Bingo on Saturday 28th.

And we’re still hoping agus praying that the Rod Stewart tribute night is back before Christmas. Highlight has got to be Do You Think I’m Sixty?.

All gigs kick off at 10pm and finishing somewhere in the late 1970s.

There’s also a new Sunday session from 7pm to 9pm, with Shay Dunne & Thomas playing all the old singalongs we love. Warning: There May Be An Accordion.
