evealing the two sides of this beautiful little town of ours, when GG first passed lifeguards Kirstin and Elliot this afternoon to arrange a chat, just five minutes on towards The Cove, hey, a discarded nappy on the footpath.

Heading back one hour later, and, boom, there’s a sweet mum and her three kids, taking on the new 2-Minute Beach Clean challenge, just introduced to Greystones.

Yep, just as much as there are always going to be those who really don’t care where they drop their crap, there’s at least four Greystonians who care enough to actually pick up other people’s rubbish.

So, the future looks bright for our town’s seafront. We got 99 problems, but a dirty beach ain’t one.

A new initiative by Blue Flag Ireland and Clean Coasts, GG is happy to see any little reminder out there for eejits who apparently don’t know how to wipe their own little space in this world. And so, we decided to get a little more info from the groovy Elliot and Kirstin…
