Linda & Sandra Go Down By The Boat Yard

The dynamic duo…

he latest outdoor exhibition at The Boat Yard Gallery down Greystones harbour way is a double-bill dynamo.

Running on Saturday, August 26th and Sunday 27th, besties Linda Corbet and Sandra Rowe will be having the very first show and tell of their latest creations.

“We are two sea-loving friends who share a deep love for swimming and nature,” explains Linda.

“During our morning swims we became aware of the vibrant colours, beautiful forms and textures of the seaweed surrounding us…”

And so, naturally, the girls gathered up these ocean treasures and, employing a little Victorian hand-pressing magic, have created works of art that are ready to “infuse homes with the essence of the ocean”.

The exhibition is called Soft Day Seaweed, with Linda and Sandra in attendance at The Boat Yard Gallery from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th.
