Get in…
hen GG first moved into Greystones’ most exclusive area, Kindlestown Park, 25 years ago, pretty much instantly we knew who the coolest cats on the block were.

Joan & Alan Hayden
It was Alan and Joan Hayden, a dapper-looking couple who, to no one’s great surprise, soon produced Kindlestown’s coolest little sprogs too.

Jessica, Diego, Aaliyah & auntie Ceara
First came Alan Jnr, followed swiftly by Neasa, Kevin and Ceara, each one seemingly groovier, smoother and better-looking than the last.
Today, Killincarrig lad Alan and Dalkey dame Joan are sadly no longer with us, but the family tree they planted just keeps on growing. That Neasa should go on to bring even cooler kids into the world – take a bow, Jessica, Diego, Aaliyah and the freshly-minted Alfie – would no doubt have thrilled her parents.
But, hey, what can a mother do when she’s blessed with incredible genes.
Lucky for her own four sprogs, Neasa loves kids – so much so, she spends her days working at the Delgany playschool, Lir, a home-away-from-home for this natural born mother.
