And given that Greystones is now very much a foodie town, hey, his first stop was inevitable.
Having recently toured Spain and Portugal, Neven concentrates on the east coast of Ireland for his latest outing, visiting restaurants, cafes, food stalls and farms for the new six-part series.
With a little too much to choose from in Greystones, the man from Cavan settled on No. 84 Wood Fired Pizza and La Crêperie Pierre Grise down by the harbour before swinging into the award-winning Chakra on the main street, with head chef Jay Singh revealing the recipe for their famous Chooza Khaas Herikay.
So, notebooks at the ready.
Then it was on to Newcastle, and Kilmullen Farm, where Margaret Hoctor and Eamon Burke have built up a formidable reputation for their lambs.
