August 2022…Wicklow Children and Young People Services Committee [Wicklow CYPSC], together with Bray Area Partnership and County Wicklow Partnership, launched three videos and a series of maps designed to offer support to the Ukrainian community in County Wicklow on Monday last.

Since the start of 2022, Wicklow has welcomed Ukrainian people displaced by the war in their homeland. The partners involved in the Community Response Forum, led by Wicklow County Council, have been working hard to make this transition as easy as possible.
The videos and maps being launched today will help that transition.

Deputy Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council, Michael Nicholson, added that the Council is at the forefront of the emergency response, in sourcing accommodation for the Ukrainians and working with all the agencies in the county, under the auspices of the Community Response Forum, and stated that the videos and maps will further assist our displaced friends from Ukraine.
