Or, in this case, a very good cause, Robyn’s flowing locks hitting the floor of Susan Collins’ hair salon this afternoon for the Rapunzel Foundation, the New Ross-based charity that collects hair of 14 inches or longer to help make wigs for people living with Alopecia.
“I wanted to give my hair to someone who didn’t have hair that needed it,” explains 10-year-old Robyn as she got used to having a breeze on her neck. “Then I chose to raise money for Child Vision because they helped me with my low vision, with school books.

be cherished daily and maybe even cuddled at night.
Through Rapunzel, the money raised by today’s act of kindness will ultimately go to Child Vision, the Dublin-based national campus for children with a visual impairment and complex disabilities.

What a fantastic girl to do such a generous and thoughtful thing! I don’t know Robyn but it’s wonderful to know that the younger generation have people of Robyn’s calibre. There is hope for us yet! Well done Robyn. I think you are amazing. <3
