Strong, like bull…

t’s a challenge and a half, taking on that Irish Sea for an entire winter month.

Especially when that month is December and your day job means you’re hitting those ice cold waves in the dark.

But that’s just what Mark Foley and his mum, Mary, are doing this Christmas.

Because madness is something that we all know tends to run in the family.

And their 31 days of freezing cold swims are all in aid of St Vincent de Paul.

“We’ve already gone beyond our original goal with €1,000,” says Mary, “but we’d love to put some more money in the hat, as this has been a particularly tough year for many people.

“And St Vincent de Paul do incredible work…”
