St. David’s Student Gets Ireland’s Highest Overall Result

A trophy AND a horse? NIce.

proud day for both the school and its star pupil, St. David’s Holy Faith Secondary School today presented Aoife Rainey with the Leah Little trophy for the student who has the highest overall result in the national tests.

Ms Rainey is one of only 7 students in the entire country to reach this level of excellence. And downright smartness.

It was following a rechecking of results procedures this year that Aoife, of last year’s 3rd year group, was awarded her 12th A grade in the Junior Certificate Exam.

Congratulations to the school, and to Ms Rainey – seen above accepting her trophy from St. David’s principal, Ms. O’Doherty – on this remarkable achievement.

Keep this up and, who knows, this young girl may even be smart enough to produce the Greystones Guide.
