St Gerard’s Student Rough It With Centra Sambos

bunch of St Gerard’s students slept rough on the streets of Delgany last night, and it was all for a very good cause.

That good cause being the annual sleepout-to-help-out fundraiser for Focus Ireland, the leading charity addressing homelessness in Ireland.

Also taking place down at Greystones train station, among the 40 TY students were locals Luke Carroll, Felix Kehoe, Abigail Galligan, Bibi Devereux and Ethan Bradshaw.

Those helping them make it through the night were Cuddihy’s Centra and Bread 41, the former supplying the gang with some much-needed breakfast rolls as Saturday dawned.

They may have raised well beyond their €5,000 goal already, but the more donations, the merrier everyone will be.

Especially those without a home to go to.
