St Kevin’s Are Schools All-Ireland Champs

t was a big day for St Kevin’s young football players today, when they headed into Aviva Stadium for a very important match.

Having been crowned South Leinster champions and then Leinster champions, today, the lads were to prove themselves unbeaten by Munster, Ulster and Connaught.

Which meant that, with a 1-1 draw to open, followed by a 4-0 win and a 2-0 win, the lads were soon crowned FAI Schools All Ireland 5-a-side Champions. with all the fanfare and fan worship such a title deserves.

Boom!

Big congrats to players Leo Ward, Finn Connerty, Jake Somers, Cillian Walsh, Dylan Corbett, Dylan Keane, Stephen Moran and Cian Lawless, as well as coaches Mr McNeice and Mr O’Neill.

Special shout-out too to the 150 Greystones parents who did an heroic amount of shouting out. And spurring their lads on to victory.
