eeing so many incredible Splash Of Colour entries over the past month was a true tonic for these inbetween days.

As with previous years, you simply wanted to give each and every one of these young artists first place, and it was a joy to see pretty much every entry getting a whole lotta votes – and love – over the past five weeks.

In the end, the kid with the biggest love was T.J. Porter, the 9-year-old wunderkind’s Golden Path To Summer managing to garner almost twice the votes of its nearest rival.

Mainly because we’re all ready to follow that yellow brick road to a beautiful summer 2021.

We swung down to Sweet Boutique this afternoon to meet T.J. and dad Eoin, as he picked up his prizewinning hamper from the sweet and lovely Joellen, and it was big smiles all round. “I just went to the dentist last week,” said T.J., “so, the timing is perfect. Not sure I’d want to go and see him next week after I’ve finished this lot…”

Congrats to all the entries, and big love to Sweet Boutique for the hamper and to the Greystones-based telecoms provider Goldfish for sponsoring this annual kids competition.
