oung Barry Meyler has put the call out for this year’s Team Hope Shoebox Collection.

And being Greystones, he’s had quite a few of Santa’s little helpers already on the case.

Here’s the lowdown…

It’s that time of year again, the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal is in full swing.

Schools from across Ireland are getting behind the appeal and I am delighted to have so many schools in Greystones participate this year. Since 2010, the Christmas Shoebox Appeal has impacted over 2.7 million vulnerable children’s lives across Africa and Eastern Europe.

We are always looking for donations of copy books, pencils, pens, beanies, toothpaste, toothbrushes, jellies & tennis balls.

You can drop off your filled shoeboxes or fillers into the centre at Hillside Evangelical Church or, until November 10th, at SuperValu Charlesland and Shoreline Greystones. If you would like to get involved you can contact Barry on 0862641598 or by emailing [email protected].

The checking centre at Hillside Church is open November 10th to 20th 9am-1pm Monday to Friday.
