Having never quite got over the passing of his beloved mum, Dorothy, on November 13th 2020, Alan fittingly joined her today, in the early hours of Mother’s Day.
Above all else, we’ll remember Alan’s laugh, as we spent yet another afternoon waxing lyrical about Mr. Presley, about sourcing a new Las Vegas costume, about taking a spin out to Greystones soon, and how Priscilla will no doubt

The one, the only…
ven as he was being bounced from hospital to hospital, Alan
Adamson was always smiling, always believing.
Believing that everything was going to be alright, that he would have his comeback special real soon, and that, in no time, he would be visiting his adopted home, Greystones, signing autographs and posing for selfies with his fans.
Despite the steady decline in his health over the past few years, The Man Who Would Be The King could always find the sun even in the darkest of days. And now, sadly, the man is gone.

His brothers and sister had been by his hospital bedside ever since doctors informed them on Friday that the end may be near. Return to sender…
It was back on July 26th 2018 that we finally met up with the Elvis we had seen so many times on the streets of his native Bray, sitting down with Alan at The Three Q’s as he chomped down on “the best burger in the whole world“. We were surprised to find out that this lifelong Elvis fanatic had never actually graced a stage, and so, we organised his 45-years-in-the-making live debut at The Whale.
And Alan couldn’t have been better – and he couldn’t have been happier.
Over the years, through the ups and downs, the returns to the stage, the unplanned foreign tours, the many, many free lunches, Alan just kept on smiling.
Mainly because the lad was always up to some mischief or another, even if it was just guzzling back a 2-litre bottle of Coke in two minutes.

Alan gets fizzy with it… FEB25

We are from llangollen .N . Wales . We were visiting family and saw him in the chippy in greystones. What a ledge. RIP
A pretty decent voice there RIP
RIP Elvis (Alan). I remember one day waiting on the plaform at Greystones station when ‘The King’ appeared in his white jumpsuit, waiting for a Dart. A few minutes later, ‘A Little Less Convetsation’ started to play over the railway Tannoy and Elvis started bustin’ some moves. Great guy… We need a hell of a lot more like him.
